I've seen some trail cams for excellent deals lately...thinking about placing one or two.

for those of you that use them, do you keep them out year round in one place or do you move them frequently until you find a something you'd like to better keep an eye on.

Also, how many do you keep? I've known some folks who had many, others who have just had one or two.

I'm still in a relatively traditional mindset, and don't know if I want to introduce so much technology (for my wallet and my sanity)

I find the cameras very useful. We only use about 1 or 2 where we hunt and there is quite a bit of land. We like to put them near trails but we move them around a lot. Keep them in a spot for a while but moving them around gives you an idea of how many deer are in that area.
