I got a shot at this one this year, grazed him, drove me nuts. All the food plots and time on stand comes down to 3 seconds. He was crossing one of my shooting lanes so it was shoot fast or not at all and I found a bunch of white hair, jumped him, and hardly any blood that quit after 50 yards. Hopefully he makes it another year!

Yea i couldn't believe it. I hunted for 14 days before I even had a chance to take a buck and when he stepped out at 250 i said a quick prayer and let the old 7mm do the dirty work. I walked out there and sure as s#&t he was layin ten yards away belly up. The smallest buck i have taken so far but by far the most rewarding. _________________ When They give ya the look ya gotta give'em the shaft

After being with-in 10 yards of 2 nice bucks opening weekend, but not being able to shoot (house in backdrop both times at different locations), my step dad and I tag teamed on this guy while driving a small slough the second weekend. It took 3 slugs to bring him down and a 3/4 mile run across a plowed corn field but we got him down. The best part, I took my oldest son with me for the first time and he got to witness the whole thing. He was walking with me during the drive and made the treck arcoss the plowing all after just getting done going with on a mile+ lake shore drive. He was quite facinatined with the field dressing and quite shocked when we cut the pee pipe off.
